Recovery workshop 18 Nov 2011

18.11.2011 we had got up at the dawn and went on recovery workshop. Meeting had been near Dragon Markt as always, and than all together we went to the desert. Workshop were very friutful.

Mike and Dev had shown us how to recover in the most simple way from being stuck. First we had practiced how to dig out from the loose sand. I really don't know how Mike manage to sunk his car this way. When it was my turn to sink my car I could not do that.

After 10 minutes of shovelling...

We had tried to rock the car to get grip.

But it was still stuck...

So we kept on digging until the car was free and moving.

And than there was a time to recover our own cars.

They wanted me to 'hang' a car on the top of the dune.. so I did it :) with two wheels in the air

Rope attached to Randzie and Indianka has been freed :)

Last exercise - changing a tire.

That was fun and we have learned a lot. I think that next time we will be better prepared to all unexpected situations. And I want to thank boys for their help :)

Autumn came...

Autumn in Dubai

Autumn came to Dubai... there are no red and golden leafs, but the temperature is much more nicer. It dropped down to 29 degrees and in the evenings is even cold :) for me it's freezing.
As a result of temperature decrease, you can stay outside; go for a walk or lie on the beach. Now is the season for grill, beach, walks and all activieties on the open air.

Bur Dubai

We went to Bur Dubai - the most interesting pakistani restaurant in the city - Karachi Darbar Restaurant! Maybe it's not the priettiest place, but food is delicious!!! Before it, small stop for coconut - I've never thought that coconut milk is so good...
