Restaurants #6 /Itsu, Marina Walk/

Itsu

Sushi bar in the Dubai Marina Walk. Good sushi, maybe not 'first-class' but there is nothing to complain about. Serves its meals as a buffet or 'a la carte'.

Buffet in two versions:
- with miso soup and soft drink - 89 aed
- with fresh juice and salad - 119 aed.
My choice is always with miso (I really like this soup). And it is all you can eat buffet.

different types of maki...

and sashimi of course (tuna and salmon)

Restaurants #5 /Chop Chop, Mall of the Emirates/

Chop Chop

Restaurant right next to the slope of Ski Dubai. Some tables have a view of the slopes. They serve the Far East cuisines (Thai, Chinese and Japanese). Good place for a quiet dinner in a noisy shopping center.

Unfortunately I lost the bill so I can not give you the exact price :( But they are on the middle level, the soup around 30 aed, main course 40-50 aed.
I do not remember exact names or all the dishes as well :(
It wasn't our first visit there and I think that it means something :) we liked it and enjoyed the food a lot :)

Hot and sour vegetable soup. Nice one!

Thai green curry - my husband's favorite dish, he accepted it. He is quite picky when it comes to food (especially this dish).

Seafood in oyster sauce - unusual taste, but good.

Two kinds of duck - one was definitely in the black pepper, but I do not remember the other name - it was something with the name of the region in China.

And my dish. I try this one in all places - Pad Thai, this time with prawns - delicious

One word at the end - I recommend

Restaurants #4 /Ban Khum Mae, Mall of the Emirates/

Ban Khum Mae which means my mother's house in Thai

Bar with Thai cuisine in west food court in Mall of the Emirates (this one on the first floor near the Ski Dubai). They have really good Thai food and it is truly Thai! If you do not like very spicy food, you can ask to prepare for you a version not so hot, or not hot at all. I've tried many dishes there, and I wasn't disappointed!

This is Yum Woon Sen - fresh, clear noodle salad with minced chicken, squid and chili lemon dressing - love it!

They also have a great Tom Yum soup in many types. I have tried Tom Kha Gai, Tom Yum Gai, Tom Yum Goong. Curry are also delicious - especially the Kiev Wan Gang - a green curry. I've liked the red curry Gang Daeng. Pad Thai is a very tasty as well.
