Restaurants #11 /Bu Qtair - fresh fish from the fisherman/

Maybe restaurant is a bit too much to say, but this is a place where they give to eat and it is  sooooo good: D so you might as well call it restaurant.

It is open from 12.30 am to 3.00 pm and then from 6:30 pm to midnight (Saturday - Thursday), and after prayers on Friday. The place is always crowded! And the food is delicious and cheap! It is a bit difficult to get there and taxi drivers often do not know the place.

Coming from Dubai Union House when you are driving Jumeirah Road, turn right into the street called 35A just before the Emarat petrol station (one with Mc Donald) near Dubai London Clinic. Drive to the end of 35A street and than turn left. This is a time to start to look out for Bu Qtair on the left hand side, white container between fishing boats. It is near the Burj Al Arab.

Ordering procedure - go inside, select  your fish or shrimp (what is available depends on what  they caught so you can be sure that it is fresh). Then you have to wait in line for a table that you get along with the course.

For fish and shrimps we paid 100 dirhams - the shrimp are of course more expensive and I have to say that for two of us it was a little too much. In addition, we ordered 3 parathas, two waters, two teas, curry sauce and salad and we paid 11 dirhams!
