Restaurants #1 /Chicken Tikka Inn, JLT/

Chicken Tikka Inn - JLT

I decided to write about inns, pubs, restaurants and other eating places. I will describe  for you the places we visited, from the cheap bars to expensive restaurants.
Maybe those visiting Dubai find it useful :)

Today we have visited the Chicken Tikka Inn in JLT (Jumeirah Lake Towers), this is a chain restaurant. They are serving an Indian cuisine and a bit of Chinese (but mostly Indian). Here you can find their website http://chickentikkainn.com/. They advertise itself as the oldest and the best charcoal grill. It was founded in 1972. So, it is actually quite a long tradition as Dubai standarts.

Interior design are simple but the 'boxes' are comfortable, clean and tidy.

Let's get to the most important - Food.

I have to say it was tasty, and the portions quite big. The only issue - my Palak Paneer was quite salty, but I do not use salt at all, so for me a lot of food is too salty.

Our order:

Soup - Hot & Sour Chicken - in my opinion very tasty, Pavel also like it. Price 10 AED.

Butter Tandoori Naan - typical wheat bread from Asia, originally comes from Persia. Price 4 aed / piece.

Ginger Chicken - 24 aed

Palak Paneer - goat cheese with spinach and tomatoes. Price 16 aed.

Fresh green salad. Price 9 aed.

And at the end of Masala Chai - black tea with spices, served with milk. Price 5 aed.

And here is the bill :)

We can recommend this place! You can try and eat for a reasonable price. Like almost all restaurants in Dubai they have home delivery as well.
